This deck relies on Regirock to sponge up damage while the primary attackers, Rhyperior and Marowak ex, are set up on the Bench. Once they are built, Marowak ex can make for a good mid-game attacker and Rhyperior can be used as a finisher.

Regirock has an Exoskeleton ability which can reduce any damage taken to it by 20 HP, making it the perfect early game shield while building up Rhyperior in the Bench.

If Rhyperior is low HP or gets defeated, you can switch in Marowak ex as a secondary attacker to deal finishing blows to the remainder of your opponent's Pokemon.

By using Sabrina or Cyrus strategically, you can force the opponent to draw Rhyhorn or Rhydon out into the Active Spot. Defeating them will disrupt the opponent's Rhyperior build.

Rhyperior is weak against Grass and takes 2 evolutions to evolve, so the best counter deck would be a Fast Grass-Type Deck. Exeggutor ex only needs one evolution, one energy, and can withstand at least one hit from Rhyperior—making it a direct counter to this deck.
