We've prepared several new decks that can be built with the new cards from the Eevee Grove Expansion.
Sylveon ex is a top contender, thanks to its powerful Happy Ribbon Ability that allows you to draw 2 cards when you evolve into it. Because it is a Psychic-type, it is frequently seen played with Giratina ex.
Flareon ex can power itself up wtih its Combust Ability, giving it speed and explosiveness, being able to attack with minimal setup.
Other Eeveelutions like Espeon, Umbreon, Leafeon, and Vaporeon also make an appearance in this new set.
Primarina ex is also a tanky new Pokemon from Eevee Grove with high HP, ability to heal damage with Sparkling Aria, and synergy with healing cards like Irida and Lillie.
Dragonite ex and Snorlax ex are two new exs that pack a punch!

Sylveon ex variants involving Greninja, Charizard ex, and Giratina ex prove to be the best decks in the format.
Solgaleo ex and Shiinotic decks are still strong, despite the prevalence of Fire-type decks.
Pom-Pom Oricorio decks remain strong, being able to combat the new ex-reliant decks in the upper tiers.
Pokemon from previous sets gain powerful new partners in Eevee Grove.
Giratina ex and Silvally gain valuable consistency with its new partner, Sylveon ex.
Turtonator naturally synergizes with Flareon ex giving Fire decks a new Pokemon to use.
Sylveon ex finds itself slotted into older archetypes with partners like Greninja, Giratina ex, or Charizard ex, boosting their consistency with Happy Ribbon's Card Draw,
Flareon ex offers speed and explosiveness to any Fire deck that it is included in. Combust allows you to attach a Fire Energy to it at the cost of HP loss, but this can be mitigated by cards like Eevee Bag.
Dragonite ex can do a massive 180 damage with Giga Impact for only three Energy. This comes with the restriction that Dragonite ex cannot attack the following turn. Players will have to get creative with overcoming this restriction, and find ways to get Dragonite ex to attack consecutively.
Buzzwole ex decks have effective early-game Pokemon like Pheromosa and Kartana making it unafraid of going up against Pom-Pom Oricorio.
This archetype may have some trouble going up against new Fire decks that run Flareon ex and Charizard ex from Shining Revelry.
Silvally is a powerful Colorless Pokemon that is played with Rampardos.
Silvally decks run lots of Supporter cards to consistently give Silvally's Brave Buddies its damage boost. It also benefits from Gladion which allows you to find your Type: Null and Silvally easily.
Besides consistency, the deck's biggest strength is all of its single-point Pokemon that require your opponents to take three difficult KOs to win.
Silvally can easily KO Eeveelutions with less than 100 HP with Brave Buddies being able to hit for 100 after you use a Supporter.
Solgaleo ex and Shiinotic is still a top threat because of its consistency and offensive pressure. Shiinotic's Illuminate helps find all the pieces necessary to set up a Solgaleo ex and position itself for a sweep. Solgaleo ex and Shiinotic notably matches up favorably against decks with Pokemon with low HP like Silvally or Eevee ex, because of its ability to consistently knock those Pokemon out while being bulky enough to take multiple hits.
Solgaleo ex lists gain Leftovers, a new Tool card that can mitigate Sol Breaker's recoil damage.

The best decks are in the S tier, which are decks that have amazing consistency on top of being easy to build and function with minimal difficulty. |
---|---|
![]() |
A+ Tier Decks are some of the most powerful metagame options. These can function at the highest level, but face competition against S tiers. |
![]() |
A Tier Decks are also powerful, and can also function at a high level, but may not be as easy to pilot as the S Tiers. |
![]() |
B Tier Decks are decent, but would require more skill to achieve success with. |
![]() |
C Tier consists of the game's Rogue Decks. These are great for countering specific threats but require skilled pilots and specific circumstances to succeed with. |
![]() |
D Tier include decks that used to be stronger, and those kept to date with the latest sets, but lacks the consistency to keep up with the heavier hitters. |
