These three ex Pokemon are the setpieces of any deck that they're in.
Mega Venusaur ex becomes a highly disruptive tank when it is able to setup.
Mega Charizard Y ex can OHKO every Pokemon in the game, even other Mega Charizard Y ex. It can easily be set up by Moltres ex and the new Charmeleon from Crimson Blaze.
Mega Blastoise ex can deal a solid 130 damage with Triple Bombardment, and can get the option to snipe if it has an extra three Water Energy attached.

Mega Charizard Y ex's firepower can make for checkmate situations if it is able to set up and KO a Mega ex Pokemon. Attacking with Crimson Dive, however makes it easier to KO, so Mega Charizard Y ex players will have to make sure that they win on the turn that they attack.

Because Mega exs are heavily played, Pom-Pom Oricorio has been seeing increased play as well. Unless a card that nullifies Abilities is introduced, Pom-Pom Oricorio will remain a potent countermeasure to prevalent ex Pokemon.
Magnezone is a single-point Pokemon that deals a solid 90 damage, which can also trade points favorably against Mega ex Pokemon and avoid damage with Mirror Shot's effect.
Heliolisk can KO Pokemon at the cost of only 2 Energy with its powerful Thunderbolt; a great way for finishing off Pokemon that Pom-Pom Oricorio and Magnezone have whittled down.
Best Pom-Pom Oricorio Decks and Card List

Greninja is played alongside a variety of top Pokemon because of its powerful Water Shuriken Ability and ease to set up thanks to Rare Candy and Copycat.
Additionally, Greninja Decks that run Water Energy can match up favorably against Mega Charizard Y ex variants.
Best Greninja Decks and Card List
| The best decks are in the S tier, which are decks that have amazing consistency on top of being easy to build and function with minimal difficulty. | |
| A+ Tier Decks are some of the most powerful metagame options. These can function at the highest level, but face competition against S tiers. | |
| A Tier Decks are also powerful, and can also function at a high level, but may not be as easy to pilot as the S Tiers. | |
| B Tier Decks are decent, but would require more skill to achieve success with. | |
| C Tier consists of the game's Rogue Decks. These are great for countering specific threats but require skilled pilots and specific circumstances to succeed with. | |
| D Tier include decks that used to be stronger, and those kept to date with the latest sets, but lacks the consistency to keep up with the heavier hitters. |

Energy efficiency and damage dealt both contribute to a deck's overall consistency.
Facing off against specific deck archetypes would require you to strategize and modify strategies to suit different situations. A deck's ability to pivot to different options is considered for its tier placing.

I’m seeing Whimsicott EX and Ariados everywhere and it’s very strong. I think it should be added to the tier list.
