Probopass ex Deck Strategy Guide

Apply Pressure With Early Game Attackers

While Probopass ex is being set up in the Bench, you may use an early game attacker with a low Attack Cost to chip away at your opponents' HP. Skarmory is highly recommended, as it has an efficient Attack Cost, and can deal 40 damage with a Pokemon Tool attached.

Focus on Defense

When it is Active, Probopass ex's damage reduction allows the player to make more defensive plays. It is recommended to further increase its survivability with Adaman or add to its bulk with Giant Cape.

How to Beat Probopass ex Decks

Use Fire-Type Pokemon With High Damage

Fire-type Pokemon can negate Probopass ex's damage reduction through their type advantage. Most cards still have to take two turns to knock Probopass ex out, but Genetic Apex Charizard ex is able to OHKO it by dealing 200 damage with Crimson Storm.

Deal Additional Damage

The player may also use Lucario or Red to add an additional 20 damage to their Pokemon's attack, mitigating the effects of Defensive Unit. Attaching Rocky Helmet to your Active Pokemon is another alternative, as it can inflict damage on Probopass ex if it chooses to attack.
