Pokemon TCG Pocket has two expansion sets available on launch. The first one is Genetic Apex, which is the game's first main expansion which highlights Pikachu, Charizard, and Mewtwo. The second one is Promo-A, which contains Supporter and Item cards as well as promo cards with alternative prints.

A third expansion has been made available on December 17 called Mythical Island, which features the mythical Pokemon Mew, Celebi, and Marshadow.

How Many Cards in Pokemon TCG Pocket?

Currently Has 294 Cards

Pokemon TCG Pocket, on its global release, has 294 cards. These include standard and rare cards, including those with holographic layers and immersive effects, and promo cards.

Additional Cards in Promo-A Set

The Promo-A set is a separate pack which are composed of cards that you can get in the game's in-game shop. You can purchase these cards with Shop Tickets.

You Can Have 20 Cards Per Deck

Genetic Apex as a set may have over 200 cards, but you can only include 20 cards in your deck for card battles.

These do not include Energy, as the game does not have Energy Cards anymore as it has been replaced with the Energy Zone, so you can fit more Pokemon or Supporter cards in your deck.
