Abomasnow and Arceus ex Deck [★ Best ★]	Strengths: • Abomasnow can be set up quicker as long as Arceus is on the field. • Both Palkia and Arceus can deal an immense amount of damage once set up. Weaknesses: • Abomasnow can't fully utilize its ability if Arceus is drawn late.

Abomasnow Deck Strategy Guide

Discount Abomasnow's Attack with an Arceus ex in Play

Abomasnow's Vigor Link Ability allows it to attack for one less Energy as long as Arceus ex is in play. This allows it to use Mega Punch one turn early.

Due to how important Arceus ex is in rushing the opponent, we recommend using search cards like Poke Ball, Professor's Research, and Pokemon Communication to find it ASAP.

Use Arceus ex for High HP Pokemon

Arceus' attack can deal up to 130 damage with a full bench and is a more capable attacker against Pokemon with high HP than Abomasnow. Switch Arceus ex in whenever a tanky Pokemon's HP drops to at least 130 to take it off the board and get your point.

How to Beat Abomasnow Decks

Use Fast Pokemon

Using quick-to-build Pokemon can prevent Abomasnow from coming out if it KOs Snover before it evolves. Pokemon with the type advantage like Ninetales and Rapidash could sweep Snover and also measure up against Abomasnow should it come out.

If neither are available, Snover only has 70 HP, so it could be easily defeated by any Pokemon that can hit 70 HP in two turns or less.

Use Single Point Pokemon

A deck with Pokemon like Magnezone and Skarmory can outpace Arceus ex decks with Skarmory's early pressure and Magnezone's ability to 2HKO Arceus ex with Thunder Blast.

Meowscarada can also KO Arceus ex with the help of Red, with Arceus ex being unable to KO it back without the use of Giovanni.
