Water Decks |
・Positive type matchup against Water decks because of Zapdos ex. ・Always trades damage favorably if Zapdos ex is your starter. |

---|---|
Fighting Decks |
・Pokemon like Mythical Island Primeape can consistently deal sizeable damage to all of our Pokemon. |
Pikachu ex Decks |
・ Zapdos exs in the deck are all weak to Lightning. ・ Can overrun your board with damage, |
A Zapdos ex deck with no form of ramp and reliance on manual Energy attachments can be weak against quicker decks, even though it is your preferred start. Lickitung is also heavily reliant on luck for it to be successful, making this deck a Rogue option that would struggle to compete against higher tier competition.

Articuno ex |
・Articuno ex can be slotted in for Zapdos ex to turn the deck into an explosive Misty deck. |
Misty |
・ Misty can load up Articuno ex on lucky flips. This can let it snowball if you're lucky! |

A deck with all Colorless Pokemon can be built with a Free-to-Play budget. This deck runs all the splashable Colorless all-stars with a standard suite of Trainer Cards. This deck will rely heavily on luck, however, as it will find itself in a difficult spot against higher tier decks.
