Pheromosa is used as this deck's early-game attacker. It is used to deal chip damage to opposing Active and Benched Pokemon with 1 Energy. After Meowscarada ex is set up, it can be switched into the Active Spot. It can then be used to KO low-HP or weakened opponents.

Non-ex Meowscarada can be used against ex Pokemon, as its move can deal 130 damage against them. This can land a KO if the ex Pokemon has been damaged beforehand.

Meowscarada ex Deck Strategy Guide

Evolve as Soon as Possible

You will want to have Meowscarada ex in play as early as possible. You may place Shining Revelry Sprigatito in the Active Spot and use its move to search for evolution cards.

Evolving directly to Meowscarada ex with the Rare Candy is ideal. However, it is good to have Floragato in your deck to give you an alternative option.

Use an Early-Game Attacker

Use an Energy-efficient attacker if you want to set Meowscarada ex up in the Bench. Pheromosa is a great option, as it can deal damage to both Active and Benched Pokemon with 1 Energy.

Target Low-HP and Mega Evolution ex Pokemon

Meowscarada ex can score points by landing OHKOs on low-HP Pokemon. It may be beneficial to target unevolved Pokemon. This prevents them from evolving and gaining stronger attacks.

You can also target Benched Mega Evolution ex Pokemon. Since they tend to be bulky, lowering their HP will make them easier to KO later on.

How to Beat Meowscarada ex Decks

Use Fast and Powerful Attackers

You can stop Meowscarada ex by knocking it out before it attacks or evolves. You may do this with Pokemon that have high damage outputs and low Attack Costs.

Heal or Increase Your HP

You may avoid being KO'd by Meowscarada ex by making sure your Pokemon's HP is not in KO range. You may do this by using cards that heal or increase HP.
