Espeon ex works well with Indeedee ex because of their Abilities that heal. With multiple copies of these Pokemon on the field, your Pokemon become increasingly difficult to OHKO.
Indeedee ex is also a solid backup attacker that can deal lots of damage to Pokemon with high Attack Costs such as Mega Gyarados ex and Giratina ex.
A single copy of Giratina ex is slotted in as another backup attacker, and as a source of Energy for later in the game that you can use to power up a backup attacker using Dawn.
Sableye is also included as a means to OHKO Pom-Pom Oricorio.

Espeon ex's healing ability is a good counter against aggressive decks. It can be switched to the Active Spot to heal critical Pokemon when their HP is low and saves you space on healing items. At most, you may only need items like the Eevee Bag to keep your Espeon ex's HP from falling too low.
Espeon ex can also deal 80 damage for only 2 Energy with Super Psy Bolt, which can also be buffed by Eevee Bag to ensure 2HKOs on exs, and OHKOs on most Basics.
The ideal strategy is that you use Sylveon ex to draw more cards, then evolve Eevee to Espeon ex to immediately have healing. If you are facing against opponents with high HP cards, you can opt to use non-ex Sylveon to deal heavy damage.

If you have 2 Espeon ex at play, it is possible to heal 60 HP in one turn. After using the first Espeon ex's Psychic Healing to heal 30 HP, retreat, then switch into the second Espeon ex to heal another 30 HP.

Sylveon ex's ability allows you to draw 2 extra cards when you evolve an Eevee to Sylveon ex. This allows you to get important cards like Espeon ex out faster.
However, we recommend evolving Sylveon ex only when you need that little bit of extra card draw. Sylveon ex does only a mediocre amount of damage, and we want to reserve enough Eevees for other important players in your Espeon ex decks.

Cards like Mega Blaziken ex and Shining Revelry Charizard ex that can deal OHKOs are good counters to Espeon ex. This prevents Espeon ex from being able to heal.

Espeon ex can only heal when it is in the Active Spot. It would be good to have cards like Sabrina and Cyrus who can force Espeon ex out and target a weaker Pokemon.

Really nice deck! It's bringing me up to ultraball with very few defeats!
