This deck focuses solely on Slowking. It is meant to attack quickly with Litter, which discards Pokemon Tools in order to deal damage.

While most of the Trainer Cards in the deck are Pokemon Tools, there are some Items and Supporters to help in drawing more cards. In particular, Traveling Merchant can help putting more Pokemon Tools into your hand, boosting Slowbro's damage.

Slowking Deck Strategy Guide

Draw More Cards

Slowking relies on discarding Pokemon Tools in order to deal damage. It is ideal to have as many Tools in your hand as possible in order to attack consistently.

Supporters that allow you to draw more cards are helpful for this strategy. Traveling Merchant has the best compatibility Slowking, as it can search for Pokemon Tools.

Attach Rescue Scarf

While most of your Pokemon Tools should be discarded with Litter, it may be good to attach Rescue Scarf to Slowking. This can put Slowking in your hand once it is knocked out, allowing you to put a second or third Slowking into play.

How to Beat Slowking Decks

Hand Disruption

Slowking decks rely on having many Pokemon Tools on hand to attack consistently. You may use Red Card or Mars to disrupt the opponent. These cards can reduce the number of cards in their hand, which can throw off their strategy.

Heal or Increase Your HP

Healing or increasing your HP can allow you to survive a hit from Slowking. This may give you the chance to knock it out on your next turn.

How is this deck D tier? It poops on Suicune decks

1 PoisonTentacle PoisonTentacle 4 months

There is only 2 basic pokemon in this deck which means you are always guaranteed to start with 1 of them. Therefore, having a second pokeball in the deck is a redundant card.
