Both Giratina ex and Mewtwo ex have hefty Attack Costs, sometimes having to rely on Gardevoir for Energy Acceleration. It is recommended to KO your opponents before they are set up. You may use low-cost Darkness-type Pokemon for the Type advantage.

Some Pokemon can punish opposing Pokemon for having lots of Energy attached. Alakazam, Jynx, and Exeggutor from Mythical Island all have the Psychic attack with damage that increases according to the defending Pokemon's attached Energy.
The best Pokemon for this attack is Gallade ex. Energized Blade attack deals up to 150 damage to a fully powered-up Giratina ex, and Giratina ex can't OHKO Gallade ex in return.

You may use the Rampardos and Lycanroc Deck to attempt to clear the Fighting-type and 3◇ Battle Tasks. The deck contains strong single-point attackers that do not have a Psychic-type weakness.
Midnight Form Lycanroc is played as a consistent attacker that can always attack for up to 100 damage with Blood Fang. This makes it a perfect early to mid game attacker.
The deck skips Cranidos entirely to increase the chances of drawing into Rare Candy and Rampardos.
When combined with, Rockruff’s Signs of Evolution helps thin Lycanrocs from your deck, and your odds of drawing Fossils, Rare Candy, and Rampardos further improves. It also ensures you’re ready to evolve and attack next turn.
Use Rare Candy whenever you can to quickly evolve Skull Fossil into Rampardos and KO any remaining Pokemon that go under 130 HP.

You may attempt to clear the 3◇ and below Battle Task with the Scolipede and Weezing Deck. This deck has Energy-efficient Pokemon that have a Type advantage against Giratina ex and Mewtwo ex.
Use Weezing to deal incremental damage using its Gas Leak Ability. Then you may either switch out with Leaf or scoop Weezing up with Koga. Scolipede can then deal 140 damage with Venoshock.
