3-Cost Attack That Deals 130 Damage

Mega Blastoise ex is a powerful Pokemon card that only requires 3 Energy to deal 130 damage. It also has high HP that allows it to endure attacks even from other Mega Pokemon.

Additional Effect is Difficult to Enable

In many cases, you might not be able to actually get three shots from Triple Bombardment as its additional effect requires at least 6 Water Energy attached to Mega Blastoise ex. The only way to pull this off, other than surviving several turns, is to get lucky coin flips from Misty.

Gust Out Enemy Pokemon Damaged By Triple Bombardment

If you do manage to attach 6 Energy to Mega Blastoise ex, you can pull up a damaged Pokemon from the opponent's Bench using Cyrus and knock it out with Triple Bombardment.

Add Energy Acceleration for Consistency

Mega Blastoise ex is, unfortunately, susceptible to fast attackers without access to Energy Acceleration like Manaphy or Mantyke as it would otherwise require at least 3 turns to set up. Bring one of these two Pokemon, along with Misty, to help Mega Blastoise ex attack earlier.

Take Out Energy Low-HP Pokemon Quicklu

Mega Blastoise ex needs time to set up without Manaphy or Mantyke. Make sure these two are dealt with immediately using low-cost attacks to prevent the deck from ramping up.

Wall it with Pom Pom Oricorio

Should your opponent manage to set up their Mega Blastoise ex, be sure to have a Pom Pom Oricorio ready to tag in and tank Triple Bombardment and attack Mega Blastoise ex for weakness.
