Exeggutor ex and Alolan Exeggutor Deck
[★ Best ★] |
Strengths:
• Exeggutor ex can evolve and attack as early as turn 2 since it's a Stage 1 and single-energy attacker. • Will can be used to guarantee a heads flip for Alolan Exeggutor's Tropical Hammer. • Both Exeggutor ex and Alolan Exeggutor benefit from using Will. Weaknesses: • All Pokemon in the deck share a Weakness to Fire. • Alolan Exeggutor is reliant on Will and lucky flips. |
Exeggutor ex and Meowscarada Deck
|
Strengths:
• Meowscarada can deal 130 damage to ex Pokemon for only 2 energy. • Exeggutor ex is easy to set up, requiring only one evolution and one Energy. • Good against other Meowscarada decks thanks to Exeggutor ex's early-game pressure. Weaknesses: • Makes use of Stage 2 Pokemon, which may require multiple turns to set up. |

Yanmega ex is played alongside Exeggutor ex as a way to deal higher damage, as it is able to deal a solid 120 damage. This lets it take out low HP Basic Pokemon, or 2HKO most exs. It also has a lower Retreat Cost compared to Exeggutor ex.

This deck takes advantage of Exeggutor ex's bulk and low energy cost, putting it in the Active Spot before Beedrill ex is ready. Exeggutor ex can retreat with the help of X Speed once Beedrill ex is prepared to use Crushing Spear to disrupt your opponents.

Your goal with any Exeggutor ex deck is to evolve Exeggcute and start swinging with Exeggutor ex's Tropical Swing. Staying on the board and consistently dealing 40 to 80 damage is Exeggutor ex's gameplan, and your other cards should support this.

Exeggutor ex should be complemented by Pokemon that are able to hit for higher than 80 damage, or are able to achieve OHKOs when necessary.
Celebi ex and Mew ex have conditional attacks, but are able to score KOs when certain conditions are met. Arceus ex can consistently deal 70 to 130 damage with a full Bench.

Attackers that can 2HKO Exeggutor ex and its teammates are difficult to go up against, especially if they get to attach Energy first and can consistenly pull ahead in momentum.
Best GA Charizard ex Decks and Card List

Attackers that can 2HKO Exeggutor ex and its teammates are difficult to go up against, especially if they get to attach Energy first and can consistenly pull ahead in momentum.

Cards that can reduce Exeggutor ex's damage output make Exeggutor ex way less effective in its role. Damage reduction also lets you catch up on resources by protecting your Pokemon's HP totals.

Exeggutor ex relies on quickly dealing damage per turn. Equipping your Active Pokemon with a Rocky Helmet allows Exeggutor ex to damage itself as it attacks.
You may also opt to use the Abilities of Pokemon like Druddigon and Pawmot, which function the same way. When Exeggutor ex consistently flips coins that land on tails, it can deal 60 or 80 damage to itself before it knocks your Pokemon out. You can deal even more damage by also equipping the Rocky Helmet on these Pokemon.
