Crabominable ex can provide early game pressure while you set up Primarina ex on your Bench.
Pyukumuku lets you apply early-game pressure with Sprinkle Water that can damage for 20. Its Innards Out Ability, however, deters your opponent's Pokemon from knocking it out. This makes it a great early-game option for when you're still setting up your benched Primarina ex.
Once evolved, Primarina ex becomes incredibly difficult to KO. The deck has multiple ways to keep it healthy. These include Primarina ex's Sparkling Aria Attack which heals 20 damage from itself, Irida which heals 40 damage on Pokemon with Water Energy, and Lillie which heals 60 damage from a Stage 2 Pokemon.

Hydro Pump can be used for 40-80 damage, while Sparkling Aria can deal a good 100 damage while healing 20 from Primarina ex.

Primarina ex's Hydro Pump can deal a total of 120 damage over a span of 2 turns. As Primarina ex gets its 3rd Energy, you can choose to KO the opponent with a boosted Sparkling Aria by using Hau if it's within KO range.

Crabominable ex is a very strong early game attacker due to its 1-cost Attack that gains increased damage with each consecutive use. It can take the Active Spot instead until you set up a Primarina ex with a Rare Candy.

Primarina ex deals mediocre damage for an ex Pokemon if it can only use Hydro Pump. Disrupt its setup and prevent it from using Sparkling Aria by knocking it out quickly or by denying it of Energy.
