Attacking an Unprepared Riolu or Lucario ex

Lucario ex requires a bit of setup, so it may be good to stop it before it can unleash its attack. Sabrina and Cyrus can draw Riolu or Lucario ex out to the Active Spot while still unprepared, but you can also use cards that can damage Benched Pokemon such as Genetic Apex Hitmonlee.

Use Powerful and Bulky Psychic-Type Pokemon

Lucario ex has a disadvantage against Psychic-type Pokemon that can knock it out in one move. The likes of Mewtwo ex and Giratina ex fulfill this criteria in addition to being able to survive one Lucario-boosted Aura Sphere.

You may attempt to clear the Darkness-type Battle Task with the Weavile ex and Darkrai ex Deck.

This Weavile ex deck has access to a devastating 90 damage play with Dawn.

Attach an Energy to a benched Darkrai ex, triggering Nightmare Aura dealing 20 to your opponent's Active Pokemon. Then use Dawn to transfer it to your Active Weavile ex, and attack with Scratching Nails for 70. This deck can achieve this combo fairly easily.

Cyrus is used to pick off damaged Pokemon who would try to escape to your opponent's Bench.

You may try to clear the No Trainers Battle Task by using the Dialga Trainerless Deck.

This deck features Dialga ex as its main attacker accompanied by Colorless and Metal Pokemon. It often spells a win if you are able to start with Dialga ex and bench a Yanma or Jigglypuff with an evolution ready.

This Trainerless deck also makes use of Arceus ex as an attacker. You may use it against an opponent with a filled Bench or opponents that inflict Status Effects.
