Dialga ex and Lickilicky ex Deck
[★ Best ★] |
Strengths:
• Lickilicky ex has lots of HP for a Stage 1. • Dialga ex can effectively power up Pokemon with Colorless Attack Costs. • Lickilicky ex can still hit for 100 even if it flips unfavorably. Weaknesses: • Dependent on lucky flips, but can still low roll for at least 100. • Difficult to set up because of high costing Attacks. • Can struggle against aggressive Fighting-type decks. |

Lickilicky ex is a fun partner for Dialga ex, which it can also power up with Metallic Turbo.
Lickilicky ex and Lickitung suffer from having heavy Retreat Costs, though, so starting with Lickitung or having a Lickilicky ex without Energy is disadvantageous. To remedy this, the deck runs multiple copies of Leaf and X Speed to make sure that they can retreat into Dialga ex.
Mew ex has the lightest Retreat Cost in the deck, and also benefits from Dialga ex's acceleration. It can attack with Genome Hacking to KO the likes of Palkia ex or Charizard ex.
| Expansions | Cards to Get and Packs to Open |

| Promo-A | X Speed x 2 (Promo-A Pack) Poke Ball x 2 (Promo-A Pack) Professor's Research x 2 (Promo-A Pack) |

Lickilicky ex has a high Attack Cost, so it is ideal to accelerate Energy with another card. Dialga ex is the ideal accelerator, since it can also deal damage as it generates Energy.

Lickitung and Lickilicky ex have rather hefty Retreat Costs, so it might be difficult to Bench them when needed. You can use Trainer Cards like Leaf and X Speed to reduce the Retreat Cost.

Gallade ex is a tough opponent to go up against. Energized Blade gets stronger for each Energy attached to our Active Pokemon, making it even easier for it to score KOs against Lickilicky ex decks.

Since Lickilicky ex takes time to set up, you can take advantage of this by knocking it out before it has set up. Sabrina and Cyrus can draw them out to the Active Spot. You can also use cards that can damage Benched Pokemon such as Genetic Apex Hitmonlee.

Lickilicky ex has a steep Attack Cost, so you may prevent it from attacking by removing its Energy. Beedrill ex can remove one Energy per turn while attacking. You can also opt to use Team Rocket Grunt, as lucky flips can allow you to remove all of Lickilicky ex's Energy at once.
