The Blissey ex Drop Event in Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket (PTCG Pocket) ran from August 6, 2025 to August 16, 2025. Follow our guide to see the cards tied to Promo-A Vol. 11, which cards are best to get, and tips and strategies to complete the solo battles and their missions.
The Blissey ex Drop Event ended on August 16, 2025.
This event allowed players to participate in solo AI battles featuring the Blissey ex card, along with receiving useful rewards by completing battle-related missions.
To participate in solo battles, you will need to use Event Stamina. Event Stamina is consumed for each win, meaning that losing won’t affect your stamina in this mode.
Additionally, you can replenish Event Stamina with Event Hourglasses, which you can earn as rewards from the beginner and intermediate solo battles, or Poke Gold.

You can also get a Promo Blissey ex card along with other promo cards from Promo-A Vol. 11 as a Blissey ex Drop Event reward.
You have a chance to get this pack whenever you complete a match against the AI, but expert battles are guaranteed to reward you with this pack, so it is a good idea to farm these matches to collect all the cards!

The highlight card, Blissey ex, is one of the best cards to pull from this set. It boasts incredible bulk and healing, making it difficult to KO.
Horsea is also a good card to pull. It can attack your opponent's Benched Pokemon, which enables you to draw them out using cards like Cyrus or Umbreon ex.
Additionally, there have not been any reruns of promo cards so far. There is a chance that these cards will no longer be available to get once the event period is over.

Whenever you receive a promo pack as a reward, you can open it in your gift list found in the upper right of the main menu.
A pack only contains one of the available promo cards, so try to get and open as many packs as you can!

In Event Solo Battles, you can battle against different decks that scale on difficulty. Once you have defeated a deck, the next deck will be unlocked containing harder cards than the last.
There are only 4 levels of Solo Battle: Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, and Expert—with Expert giving you a guaranteed card pack pull from the event.

Blissey ex can be difficult to take down once it evolves, so it is best to KO it early.
Sabrina and Cyrus can draw them out to the Active Spot, but you can also use cards that can damage Benched Pokemon such as Pheromosa.

Blissey ex has a high Attack and Retreat Cost. You may use cards such as Team Rocket Grunt or Guzzlord ex to remove its Energy and prevent it from attacking or retreating.
Losing or conceding during the event battles does not consume Event Stamina, as it is only used up whenever you win a match.
This means that if you lose against your AI opponent or fail to complete one of the missions you are trying to complete, you can always try again without worrying about your stamina!

Rampardos and Lucario Deck |
Strengths: • Rampardos's low-cost attack can OHKO most Pokemon and deal meaningful damage to Pokemon who can tank it. • Lucario can help Rampardos get important KOs. • Very energy-efficient with low-cost Attacks. Weaknesses: • Makes use of Stage 2 Pokemon, which may require multiple turns to set up. • Makes use of Fossil Pokemon, which are difficult to set up. |

Lucario ex and Lucario Deck |
Strengths: • Lucario ex can quickly be set up and deal damage. • Lucario can power up Lucario EX, and having both cards reduces the chance of Riolu not being evolved. • Lucario ex can dish out damage to the opponent's Bench, potentially knocking out two Pokemon with one attack. Weaknesses: • Lucario ex's three energy 100 damage is not enough to knock out most ex Pokemon. • Weak against Giratina ex decks. • Has a hefty 2 Retreat Cost. |
