List of Contents
| Ninetales Deck Variants | Strengths and Weaknesses |
|---|---|
Flareon ex and Ninetales
[★ Best ★] |
Strengths:
• Flareon ex synergizes with Ninetales, being able to accelerate discarded Fire Energy with its Combust Ability. • Ninetales is a single point attacker that can deal a consistent 90 damage with Flamethrower. Weaknesses: • Flareon ex deals damage to itself whenever it accelerates Energy with its Combust Ability. • Pokemon in the deck are easy to KO because of their low HP or because they damage themselves. |
Rapidash ex and Ninetales Deck
[★ New ★] |
Strengths:
• Rapidash ex can deal a lot of damage and hit Pokemon on the opponent's Bench. • Since Rapidash can damage the Bench, you can use Cyrus to swap in a damaged Pokemon of your choice from the opposing Bench. Weaknesses: • You can't use Blaine on Rapidash ex. |
Ninetales and Blaine Deck
|
Strengths:
• Attackers in the deck need only few Energies to get set up. • No ex Pokemon in the deck, which means opponents must KO three Pokemon to win. • Positive matchup against Grass decks like Meowscarada. Weaknesses: • Pokemon in the deck have low HP, making them easy to KO. |

Ninetales is an effective single-point attacker that can deal a good 90 damage at the cost of only 2 Energy with Flamethrower.
Flareon ex can then attach the discarded Energy from Flamethrower onto itself with its Combust Ability, setting itself up in the process.
A single copy of Sylveon ex can help you find necessary cards for important turns, such as Blaine or Eevee Bag.

Both Ninetales and Rapidash ex can be used as your attacker. Whichever you can set up quickly can be the one you use first.
Ninetales's damage output can be increased by using Blaine. This is useful in the late game when 90 damage isn't enough to knock out your opponent's Pokemon.
Rapidash ex has a greater damage output, and it can hit the opponent's Benched Pokemon. You can then use Cyrus to drag out a damaged Pokemon from your opponent's Bench and knock it out with an attack.

Rapidash functions as the early game attacker of the deck, putting Pokemon in KO range for Ninetales. With the assistance of Blaine, Ninetales can deal up to 120 damage upon being switched in.

| Alternate Cards | Possible Cuts |
|---|---|
![]() Rocky Helmet (A2 148) |
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() • Multiple copies of Rocky Helmet instead of Giant Cape can help put ex Pokemon into Ninetales' KO range. |
![]() Rapidash (A1 043) |
![]() ![]() • Genetic Apex Rapidash has a cheaper Attack Cost than Mythical Island Rapidash, making it valuable for chipping down high-HP ex Pokemon. |

To put bulky Pokemon in an HP treshold for Ninetales to KO, it is ideal to damage it with an early game attacker that doesn't have a high Energy requirement. Mythical Island Rapidash is the best for this, as it can deal 100 damage on a successful coin flip.

Ninetales can hit for 90 or 120 with Blaine, also allowing it to get surprise KOs. Ninetales works as a one-two combo with your early game attacker, taking out exs and getting the better end of point trades.

Cards that can increase Ninetales' damage are valuable to have. Red can help increase your damage by 20, while Giovanni can help you score more consistent KOs on Sprigatito and Exeggcute.

The Pokemon in this deck do not have high HP, so it is easy to knock them out when hitting them with their weakness. It may be better to use non-ex Pokemon to prevent your opponent from gaining more points.

This deck's strategy relies on getting your Pokemon down to Ninetales' KO range. Using Trainer Cards to heal your Pokemon may get your Pokemon back to a safer HP range.
HP Recovery and Healing Cards List

I love the X speeds They help a lot because they save energy so you can build up ninetails quicker and safely retreat without running out of energy on ninetails I do agree with everything else. Use cape, GA rapidash, and get rid of magmar
