This deck combines the potential sweeping power of Alolan Ninetales and Palkia ex, which can both damage Pokemon waiting in your opponent's Bench.
To use this deck, place Alolan Vulpix in your Active Spot and build Palkia ex's Energy requirement in your Bench. Alolan Vulpix can generate its own Energy during your first turns, so you'll be able to set up Alolan Ninetales quickly.

If you are going second in a match, you'll be able to generate two Energy for Alolan Vulpix on your first turn, one from your manual Energy attachment for turn and another one from Call forth Cold.
On your second turn, you can attach another Energy to it and evolve it into Alolan Ninetales, enabling you to attack right away and damage any Pokemon on your opponent's Bench.

Since Alolan Ninetales can easily get the Energy it needs, you can focus on building Palkia ex once Alolan Ninetales is ready.
Use Misty to help Palkia ex reach the four Water Energy it needs for it to be able to use its strongest attack.
If you don't get Alolan Vulpix in your starting hand, you can opt to place Palkia ex in your Active Spot and start giving it Energy right away.
Additionally, try to only bring out Palkia ex if you already have Alolan Ninetales ready, as Alolan Vulpix have no way of damaging Pokemon.
Palkia ex's Dimensional Storm removes three Water Energy from it after use, and it will take a few turns before you'll be able to use it again. This attack also deals a lot of damage, so try only using it against Pokemon with high HP.

Irida heals 40 HP for Pokemon with Water Energy attached to it, which makes it a good recovery card for both Alolan Ninetales and Palkia ex.
Do note that the Pokemon will not be healed if it doesn't have any Water Energy.

Both Alolan Ninetales and Palkia ex heavily rely on getting Energy for them to be useful. You can use the likes of Beedrill ex or Team Rocket Grunt to discard Energy from them. This prevents them from using their moves and stops them from damaging your Bench.
