Use Fast Energy-Efficient Fighting-Types

Tapu Koko ex and Zeraora can both accelerate Energy. They are also able to transfer their Energy to their teammates with the Electrical Cord Pokemon Tool, allowing Pikachu ex to use its powerful Thunderbolt. It is ideal to score KOs before your opponents are properly set up.

FIghting-type Pokemon with efficient Attack Costs are able to attack and knock Pokemon out in earlier turns. Sudowoodo in particular can be good against Tapu Koko ex and Pikachu ex as it deals bonus damage against ex Pokemon.

Use Strong Single-Point Attackers

The opponent may nullify damage from ex Pokemon with Oricorio. You may rely on decks that use strong, single-point attackers to counter it.

Rampardos and Meowscarada are good options that are able to OHKO Tapu Koko ex and Pikachu ex. Skarmory is also a good choice as an early-game Pokemon, being able to deal up to 50 damage per turn with a Pokemon Tool.
