Melmetal ex has a hefty Attack Cost, requiring 4 Energy to use Metal Arms. Dialga ex is used as its Energy accelerator, attacking in the early game with Metallic Turbo.
To increase the damage of Metal Arms, Melmetal ex requires a Pokemon Tool. This deck has the Steel Apron and Rocky Helmet, providing damage reduction and additional chip damage respectively.
This deck has Magearna to counter Pom-Pom Style Oricorio. Steel Cannon deals additional damage to Pokemon with Abilities, allowing Magearna to score the OHKO.

Skarmory acts as the early game attacker as Bastiodon sets up on the bench. Bastiodon is a difficult Pokemon to go up against once set up, as its Guarded Grill Ability makes it very difficult to KO.

PTCGP Metal Pokemon Deck Strategy
Strategy Focuses on Consistently Dealing Damage
Metal-type cards mostly focus on dishing out as much damage as possible after setting them up in the field, so you can rely on these cards if you want to be as offensive as possible.
You may use Dialga ex to accelerate the Energy of Metal-types with high Attack Costs. It may also be good to use Adaman to increase their survivability.
