・ Gyarados ex is hard to KO with its high HP. ・ Rampaging Whirlpool can discard Energy from the opponent’s Pokemon. ・ Greninja can damage any of the opposing Pokemon with Water Shuriken even when benched. |

Kingler |
・ High HP and requires one evolution. ・ Extremely high damage, but also very risky due to its requirements. |
Omastar |
・ Prevents from Opponents from Attacking next turn. ・ Good for setting up and delaying enemies. |
Articuno |
・ Non-ex Articuno gives the deck a non-ex option. ・ Although determined by a coin flip, Ice Beam's paralyzing effect is a valuable asset to have in the deck. |
Greninja |
・ Can deal damage to benched Pokemon. ・ Hard to take down due to high HP. |
Frosmoth | ・ Easily puts opponents to Sleep. ・ Requires one evolution. |
Vaporeon |
・ Its ability provides great support to Water decks that require a lot of Energy. ・ Can deal a decent amount of damage if forced into the Active Spot. |

・ Requires Energy build up and utilizing Misty's Trainer Card to be viable in battle. ・ Can OHKO most enemies when built successfully. ・ Can tank heavy hits. |
Vaporeon |
・ Has high HP and can tank hits. ・ Bubble Drain heals 30 HP which can keep it around for longer. ・ Deals enough damage to get most mons to low health. |
Bruxish |
・ This card benefits more as an alternative to switch with due to the +60 damage on damaged Pokemon. ・ Good card for starting out. |
Lumineon |
・ Can snipe a damaged or Basic Pokemon from your opponent’s Bench. ・ No retreat cost. ・ Cannot damage the Active Pokemon. |
Drednaw |
・ Has a chance to remove Energy from your opponent’s Active Pokemon. ・ Requires Energy to be built up before it can attack. |

・Tanky starter that deals early damage with one water energy. ・Can knock out weaker cards easily after getting 4 Water Energy. |
Swanna |
・Only requires one evolution. ・Can dish out 70 damage. |
Pyukumuku |
・Deals 30 damage immediately. ・Good damage for starting out battles. |
Cramorant |
・ If you’re lucky with coin flips, it can prevent the opponent from attacking entirely. ・ Basic Pokemon, so it doesn’t need to be evolved. ・ Low HP and requires Energy to be built up. |
A common theme for Water Type Cards is that they focus on getting more resources on the field and denying opponents to build their board. Some cards also have healing, which helps in prolonging battles.
The best strategy is to utilize Misty's Trainer Card which gives a ton of Water Energy or Gyarados to remove energy from opponents!
