Use Energy-Efficient Psychic-Types

You may use fast Psychic-types as a counter. Espeon ex is a good option, as it can evolve right away if you use Mega Rising Eevee. It also has the Ability to recover HP.

Mega Altaria ex is also a good option, as it has great bulk and the capability to do a lot of damage with a full Bench

Recover HP

Hitmonchan ex and Donphan ex can deal damage quickly, which can leave you in KO range in the later turns. It is best to have cards that heal your attackers in order to keep your Pokemon healthy.

Mega Rising Luxray can do a solid 110 damage for only 2 Energy, which allows it to deal damage quickly if it has evolved early. Furfrou can be used in the Bench as a way to nullify Flash Impact's recoil.

If Luxray still needs to be set up, you may use Galvantula as an early-game attacker. Meanwhile, you can use Copycat to search for the right Trainer and evolution cards.
