Exeggutor ex | Alakazam |
・Exeggutor ex can continuously deal damage while setting up Abra on the Bench. ・Alakazam, once out, can dish out 60 damage with an additional of 30 damage for each energy the opponent's Active Pokemon has. |
Best Starting Hand |
---|
Multiple Basic Pokemon are good to have in your opening hand, especially if there's also an Evolution card too. Cards like X Speed and Professor's Research allow you to have options like retreating at a reduced cost, and digging two cards deep for resources to use the following turn.
Recommended Starting Hand |
---|
Similar to the first opening hand, an opening hand with Exeggcute and Exeggutor ex is also really good because this allows you to immediately start applying offensive pressure with Exeggutor ex. Use Poke Ball to find other Basic Pokemon like an important Abra, which you would eventually evolve into Kadabra and Alakazam.

If you have Exeggutor and Exeggutor ex in your hand, put them in the battlefield right away. This allows you to attack with just 1 energy and put pressure on your opponent before they can get ready.
Alakazam can deal upwards of 90 damage to Pokemon with at least two Energy on them. It also has a respectable 130 HP, making it difficult to OHKO for most Pokemon. Psychic can deal sizeable damage on Pokemon with Energy-heavy Attacks.

Pikachu ex Decks |
・Pikachu ex can overrun Exeggutor ex and Alakazam with damage and consistently 2HKO them. |
Exeggutor ex is a consistent early game tank that can high roll 60 damage with lots of HP. Alakazam can run through opponents if it gets to set up, especially if their Pokemon's attacks cost a lot. With skill, this duo can be piloted to success.
Card | Explanation |
