Scizor and Skarmory work together as fast and Energy-efficient attackers. Since they both have relatively low HP, Trainer cards like Adaman and Steel Apron are used to increase their survivability.
If both of these Pokemon are knocked out, Skarmory ex can become a good late-game attacker.

Scizor has relatively low HP, so it is best to use Trainer Cards to prevent it from being knocked out.
You may use Adaman or Steel Apron to reduce the damage it takes. Alternatively, you may increase its HP with the Giant Cape.

Scizor deals more damage if it is put into the Active Spot after being Benched. You may use cards that reduce Retreat Costs in order to fulfill this condition easier.

Cards that boost your Pokemon's damage can help you manage the damage reduction of Scizor decks. These may help you land vital KOs quicker.

Scizor relies on Trainer Cards to improve its damage, survivability, and maneuverability. You may use Pokemon such as Gengar ex that have moves or abilities that can prevent your opponent from using Supporter Cards.
You may also use Silver, who can shuffle one of the opponent's Supporter Cards back into their deck. Guzma can also be used to remove Pokemon Tools.

You may also opt to shuffle the opponent's hand back into their deck. This can prevent them from having the necessary Trainer Cards to support Scizor.
