Use Fast Metal Pokemon
Unlike other Water Pokemon cards, Crabominable ex is weak against Metal.
Crabominable ex needs only 1 energy to start attacking so you need to use Fast Metal Pokemon to counter it right away.
Use Pokemon that Deal Heavy Damage
Make sure to bring Pokemon that can deal a large amount of damage since Primarina can heal 30 HP at a time once it is evolved.
Use Rare Candy to Quickly Evolve 2-Stage Pokemon
The Rare Candy can be used on Basic Pokemon to immediately evolve them into Stage 2 Pokemon. This will allow you to speed up your deck set-ups and cast more powerful attacks as early as possible.
Use Dialga ex to Generate Extra Metal Energy
Bring Dialga ex to generate extra Metal energy for your Metal Pokemon and begin attacking right away.

Shining Revelry Charizard ex's Stoke can generate extra Fire energy which can charge up Steam Artillery faster. With the help of Rare Candy, you can evolve Charmander to Charizard ex right away.
Houndoom can be used as an aggressive early game attacker. Its special move can prevent the Defending Pokemon from retreating, so if you can force Primarina into the Active Spot, you can lock out your opponent from using Crabominable ex.

Use the Ninetales and Blaine Deck for a low energy and quick build Fire Deck, which could counter Crabominable ex's speed.
Rapidash functions as the early game attacker of the deck, putting Pokemon in KO range for Ninetales. With the assistance of Blaine, Ninetales can deal up to 120 damage upon being switched in.

The deck's strategy focuses on Skarmory putting pressure on the opposing Pokemon during the Early Game. Once Bronzong and Magnezone are built, they can finish off the remaining Pokemon.
Magnezone being a Lightning-type can also counter Primarina, making this deck perfectly suited for taking out both highlight Pokemon.
