Fast Psychic-types such as Espeon ex are ideal to counter this deck. All of your opponents will be fast, so it is best to be able to damage them as soon as possible.
You may use Mega Rising Eevee in order to evolve as quickly as possible.

The opponent's Rocky Helmet can deal 20 damage every time their Pokemon takes damage. This can slowly bring your Pokemon to KO range, making it easier for your opponent to score points.
You may use Guzma to discard the Rocky Helmet, keeping your Pokemon healthier.

You may defeat Buneary before it can evolve. This allows you to score a point while preventing Mega Lopunny ex from being put into play.
If it is in the Bench, you may draw it out to the Active Spot using Sabrina or Cyrus.

While using Pom-Pom Oricorio to nullify attacks from ex Pokemon, accelerate Lightning Energy to Genetic Apex Magneton with its Ability. Once set up, evolve Magneton to Crimson Blaze Magnezone.
Move your fully-set up Magnezone to the Active Spot since it will be your main attacker. Magnezone's Mirror Shot will force the opponent to flip a coin whenever they attack. When flipping Tails, the attack does not happen. Taking advantage of this disruption will be key to victory.

Mega Charizard Y ex is a powerful new Mega Pokemon ex from Crimson Blaze that has the ability to OHKO every Pokemon in the game. It comes at the cost of recoil damage, however, so careful decision-making and analysis could prove vital when piloting this deck.
Crimson Blaze Houndoom can be used as an early game attacker while building Mega Charizard ex in the bench due to its quick set-up and low-energy cost.
This deck also runs copies of Charmeleon instead of Rare Candy, because of its Ignition Ability being able to accelerate Energy to your Active Pokemon. This makes the deck even more consistent.
