Umbreon ex's Dark Chase is made even more effective when played with Greninja's Water Shuriken.

These two Pokemon allow you to have precision in the damage and KOs that you take. While you may not always have the highest damage output, this deck's strength is in its ability to target and gust any Pokemon.

Consider loading up Umbreon ex first with Energy, instead of Darkrai ex because Umbreon ex will be able to attack for 80 sooner.

Because this deck runs multiple Eeveelutions, Eevee Bag can be used to either increase the damage output of Umbreon and Umbreon ex, or heal HP and keep them out of KO range.

Umbreon ex Deck Strategy Guide

Use Dark Chase to Gust Up Damaged Pokemon

Umbreon ex's Dark Chase lets you gust up a damaged Pokemon if Umbreon ex is in the Active Spot. This lets you take important and decisive KOs on key Pokemon when you have to.

How to Beat Umbreon ex Decks

Attack Umbreon ex for Weakness

Grass-types can deal increased damage to Umbreon ex, with the most efficient Grass-types for this purpose being Pheromosa or Kartana. Buzzwole ex also handily OHKOs Umbreon ex with Big Beat.

Leafeon ex can also threaten KOs and damage on our Pokemon with its ability to set up fast.

Best Leafeon ex Decks and Card List

Mitigate Damage with Healing Cards

Healing your Pokemon of damage can make Umbreon ex unable to gust it up with Dark Chase. Shaymin can offer incremental healing and keep your Pokemon healthy enough to avoid getting gusted or KOd by Umbreon ex.
