You can add friends in Pokemon TCG Pocket (PTCG Pocket) by sharing your Friend ID with other players. Read on to know how to add friends, and what the benefits of having friends are!
List of Contents

To build your friend list in Pokemon TCG Pocket, start by sharing your Friend ID with other players. You can find your Friend ID by tapping the Add Friend icon located next to the search bar in the Friends menu.
From there, you can either send a friend request by entering another player’s Friend ID or give your own ID to others so they can add you.

If you participate in a Wonder Pick with a stranger, you’ll have the option to send a friend request after completing the session.
After an online battle, you can also send a friend request to your opponent to add them as a friend.

Having lots of friends can help you complete your collection quicker. Trading and Sharing can greatly expedite this process, and can also help you accumulate other in-game currency such as Shinedust and Shop Tickets from sending and receiving Thanks.
How to Share Cards: Share Feature Guide

In Pokemon TCG Pocket, Wonder Pick allows you to roll for a card from a set of five that another player has obtained in a Booster Pack.
Having friends increases the pool of available cards in Wonder Pick by including cards your friends have pulled from their packs.
How to Use the Wonder Pick Feature
You can view your friends' collections, which is a great way to discover new cards and plan trades or exchanges, especially useful once the trading feature becomes available!
