Primarina ex can be quite difficult to deal with once they are fully set up. It is best to knock it out as soon as possible with fast, low-cost Lightning-type Pokemon.

Pom-Pom Style Oricorio is the ideal counter, as it can negate the damage dealt by ex Pokemon.

Prevent Primarina ex From Using Sparkling Aria

Primarina ex deals mediocre damage for an ex Pokemon if it can only use Hydro Pump. Disrupt its setup and prevent it from using Sparkling Aria by knocking it out quickly or by denying it of Energy.

Incineroar ex has a hefty 180 HP and can deal up to 140 damage for only three Energy. It can also inflict Burn on an opposing Pokemon with Fire Fang.

The deck has access to Hau, which boosts Incineroar ex's damage output.

Pom-Pom Oricorio's Ability shuts down any opposing ex Pokemon, which can help you set up Magnezone in your Bench.

Magneton's ability allows you to place extra Lightning energy onto itself. Stack as much energy as you can on Magneton before evolving it into Magnezone.

Once set up, you can bring out Magnezone to the Active Spot and, with the help of Giant Cape, withstand any attack while easily eliminating non-ex Pokemon with its powerful 110 damage attack.
