This deck uses Dialga ex as the Energy generator for Tinkaton ex. It can attack while you are building Tinkaton ex in your Bench.
Magearna is also added in the deck in case you are facing Pom-Pom Oricorio which counters your ex Pokemon, and is capable of dealing some damage on its own.

Since Tinkaton ex is a Stage 2 Pokemon, it can take a while to set up. It is ideal to evolve it in the Bench as another Pokemon is in the Active Spot.
Skarmory is ideal for this, as it has a low Attack Cost, only needing one Energy. It can also deal 50 damage when it has a Tool attached, with 20 additional damage upon being attacked if it has the Rocky Helmet equipped.

Tinkaton ex can deal 160 damage if you are lucky enough to get the coin flip needed whenever you attack.
With this, Tinkaton ex can be a serious threat to your opponent if you can set it up early with the help of Dialga ex.

Using both Giant Cape and Lillie can help Tinkaton ex withstand more attacks with increased HP and some healing. Tinkaton ex already has some hefty HP, so it can be useful to extend its survivability during the match.

Since Tinkaton ex takes time to set up, you can take advantage of this by knocking out its pre-evolutions. Sabrina and Cyrus can draw them out to the Active Spot, but you can also use cards that can damage Benched Pokemon such as Genetic Apex Hitmonlee.

You may also take advantage of Tinkaton ex's weakness to Fire-types. Both Genetic Apex Charizard ex and Shining Revelry Charizard ex can knock it out in one hit.
For cards that cannot OHKO Tinkaton ex due to its considerable bulk, they may rely on the additional damage from Red or the Rocky Helmet.
