Use Fast Darkness Pokemon
Giratina ex can accelerate the energy acquisition of Lunala ex, so you need fast Darkness Pokemon that can counter the deck's speed.
Weavile ex and Darkrai ex are good candidates as they are both quick to build and their special moves and abilities allow them to deal large consistent damage in a short amount of time.
Force Pokemon into the Active Spot
Force Cosmog or Cosmoem into the Active Spot to defeat them before they can evolve. Cards like Sabrina and Cyrus both have abilities that can force a Pokemon from the Bench into the Active Spot.

All the Fighting Pokemon in this deck are not weak against Psychic-types, so they will not take extra damage against this solo battle line-up.
Midnight Form Lycanroc is played as a consistent attacker that can always attack for up to 100 damage with Blood Fang. This makes it a perfect early to mid game attacker.
The deck skips Cranidos entirely to increase the chances of drawing into Rare Candy and Rampardos.
When combined with, Rockruff’s Signs of Evolution helps thin Lycanrocs from your deck, and your odds of drawing Fossils, Rare Candy, and Rampardos further improves. It also ensures you’re ready to evolve and attack next turn.
Use Rare Candy whenever you can to quickly evolve Skull Fossil into Rampardos and KO any remaining Pokemon that go under 130 HP.

This deck's Pokemon all have a low Attack cost, and have type advantages over both Lunala ex and Giratina ex.
Use Weezing to deal incremental damage using its Gas Leak Ability then retreat with Leaf or Koga. You may then use Scolipede to deal 140 damage with Venoshock.
