This Expert Solo Battle guide is for the Incineroar ex and Moltres ex Deck from the Celestial Guardians expansion. Read on to learn about how to defeat it, counter decks, how to beat the battle tasks, and rewards.

Use Misty on Strong Water Pokemon
Use Misty to generate additional Water energy and set up your Pokemon faster. It is best to use Water Pokemon that have high attack damage and have low Attack Cost.
Cards like Palkia ex can start attacking right away, and can OHKO Moltres ex. However, if you want to strike fast, then cards like Starmie ex and Articuno ex can be built quickly.
Use Red Against Opponent's ex Pokemon
You can opt to bring Red in your deck if you want to hit bigger damage against ex Pokemon. Red combined with Palkia ex can OHKO Incineroar ex.
Use HP Cards to Increase Survivability
Incineroar ex can deal bonus damage if your Pokemon is already damaged. Bring HP cards like Lillie or the Pokemon Center Lady to keep your Pokemon at a high HP.
Attach a Giant Cape or Leaf Cape to your Pokemon to tank against heavier hits.
You would also want to keep Erika in your Grass decks to heal a larger amount of HP for your Grass pokemon.

Beedrill ex is an effective teammate for Meowscarada as it can deal sizeable damage to non-ex Pokemon. Even a 1-1-1 line becomes consistent for this deck because of Sprigatito's Cry for Help Attack, as well as one copy of Pokemon Communication.
Beedrill ex's special move can also discard an energy from your opponent's Active Pokemon, making it difficult to complete set-ups. Combined with Meowscarada, who can punish decks for being heavily reliant on ex Pokemon, this is one of the best disruptive Grass decks available in the meta.

Frosmoth has a low energy cost and can inflict Sleep on the opponent's Pokemon. This gives you enough time to build Gyarados on the Bench. Although it takes a while to build, Gyarados' Hyper Beam can remove an energy from the opponent's Active Pokemon which can interrupt their set-up.
Misty and Manaphy are also available to accelerate Energy and speed up your build.
Use Irida to heal your Pokemon when needed.
