Primary Attacker | Status Inducer | Description |
---|---|---|
Cinccino | Weezing |
・Cincinno deals 30 damage per each Benched Pokemon you have, dealing a maximum of 90 damage per turn. ・Weezing can deal damage and inflict Poison at the same time, it can also easily switch to Cincinno with a Koga card. |
Best Starting Hand |
---|
A good hand would be to have all level 1 Evolutions of Weezing and Cincinno and a Kangaskhan ready to tank.
This is a good idea to have Kangaskhan be the active Pokemon while you build up Koffing and Mincinno in the bench.
Recommended Starting Hand |
---|
Should you end up having less essential cards at hand, make use of your Trainer Cards such as Poke Ball or Professor's Research to draw into one.
Cinccino and Weezing Deck Strategies | |||

Early Game Kangaskhan | ||
---|---|---|
Set up the board by having Kangaskhan be the Active Pokemon and deal damage to your opponent while Koffing and Mincinno takes their time to evolve on the bench.
You can use Trainer Cards such as Professor's Research if you are missing a few essential cards for your strategy.
Once Cincinno and Weezing have evolved on the bench and Cincinno has enough energy to attack, the second strategy comes into play.
Start by making Weezing your Active Pokemon to inflict Poison on your opponent’s Pokemon with its Ability. Then, use Koga to scoop Weezing out for free and bring in Cincinno to deliver powerful damage.
Key Card(s) Required | |
---|---|
Step | Description |
1 | First, set up your Kangaskhan to tank and deal damage while you get your Koffing and Minccino to evolve on the bench. |
2 | Use your Trainer cards like Poke Ball and Professor's Research to search for other essential cards you are missing. |
Key Card(s) Required | |
---|---|
Step | Description |
1 | Once your Koffing and Minccino has evolved, immediately switch your Kangaskhan to Weezing and use its Ability to deal Poison damage to the opponent's Active Pokemon. |
2 | Weezing will not need any energy to use its ability so it's alright not to invest any energies into it. |
Key Card(s) Required | |
---|---|
1 | After Weezing inflicts Poison to your opponent's Active Pokemon, it's time to have Cincinno take its place. You can choose to either switch Cinccino to Weezing by retreating and using 1 energy, or use Koga to retrieve Weezing back to your hand. |
2 | Using Koga is the best option for retrieving Weezing, since it lets you restore Weezing's HP and can let you set it up once more. |
Deck | Commentary |
---|---|
Pikachu ex Decks |
・Even with Cinccino's modest 90 HP, Pikachu ex’s attacks won't deliver an OHKO, allowing you to heal Cinccino with Potion and keep it active for the next turn. ・ Since Pikachu ex decks often switch their Active Pokemon with ones on the Bench to avoid being 2-hit KO’ed by Cinccino and to counter the Poison status inflicted by Weezing, this approach disrupts their gameplay and forces frequent switches. |
Deck | Commentary |
---|---|
Machamp ex Decks |
・Although both Cincinno and Weezing are of different types, both share a weakness to Fighting-type decks such as a Machamp ex Deck. |
Charizard ex Decks |
・ This deck struggles against opponents with high-HP Pokemon that deal significant damage, as Cinccino’s 90 HP makes it vulnerable and its attacks lack the power to deal substantial damage. |
This deck can be difficult to set up, requiring two switches to establish your late-game board. First by switching Kangaskhan to Weezing to inflict Poison, then swapping Weezing for Cincinno to deliver lethal damage.
Additionally, the deck’s effectiveness depends on the number of Pokemon you have on your bench, so you will have to make sure that your Bench is full before Cinccino attacks.
Card | Explanation |
---|---|
Muk |
・ You can replace the entire Cinccino evolution line with a Muk evolution line. It has more HP, to stay on the field longer, and it's not reliant on your Benched Pokemon. ・ Muk can deal an additional 50 damage to a Poisoned Pokemon, synergizing with Weezing's Gas Leak skill. |
Card | Possible Cuts |
---|---|
Venonat |
・You can swap out a Sabrina for another Kangaskhan to to tank damage while you set up your benched Pokemon. ・Since switching Pokemon from Active to Benched removes the Poison status, Sabrina may become less effective during the late-game setup. |

This F2P alternative deck removes the entire Cincinno evolution line and replaces it with Grimer and Muk. This adjustment eliminates the dependency on the number of the opponent's Benched Pokemon.
Muk's 130 maximum damage, combined with additional Poison damage from Weezing, allows for OHKO potential against most decks.
