Mega Altaria ex and Indeedee ex Deck
[★ Best ★] |
Strengths:
• Mega Harmony can deal up to 130 damage with a full Bench for only 2 Energy. • Easy conditions for maximizing Mega Harmony's damage output. • Indeedee ex can keep Mega Altaria ex healthy. Weaknesses: • Very weak to Pom-Pom Oricorio, which cannot be damaged by most Pokemon in the deck. |
Giratina ex and Darkrai ex Deck
|
Strengths:
• Rewards passive turns with Energy acceleration. • Can be partnered with Darkrai ex for passive damage on the Defending Pokemon using Nightmare Aura. Weaknesses: • Can get punished for loading up on Energy by Pokemon like Gallade ex. • Chaotic Impact also damages Giratina ex, making it easier to KO. |
Suicune ex and Greninja Deck
|
Strengths:
• Suicune ex's Ability can allow you to evolve Greninja early. • Giratina ex can act as a finisher if needed Weaknesses: • Suicune ex deals low damage if the opponent doesn't have Benched Pokemon. |
Sylveon ex and Giratina ex Deck
|
Strengths:
• Sylveon ex offers card draw when it evolves. • Giratina ex is used as a late-game primary attacker, which can also set itself up with Broken-Space Bellow. • Silvally is easy to set up, especially with Sylveon ex making it Supporter cards easier to find. Weaknesses: • Giratina ex's Chaotic Impact deals damage to itself, putting it in KO range of most attackers. |
Latios and Latias Deck
|
Strengths:
• Latias can deal 40 damage if Latios is on your Bench. • Latios can deal 120 damage with Luster Purge, and has Free Retreat if Latias is in play. • Giratina ex can deal high damage as a late-game attacker. Weaknesses: • The deck's main attackers share a Weakness to Dark. |

With a full Bench, Mega Altaria ex can deal 130 damage to opponents, and it's fairly easy to set up. You can use Professor's Research, Poke Ball, and May to try to get all your Basic Pokemon into your hand as soon as possible.
Your attacker in the Active Spot can be kept healthy with Indeedee ex's Watch Over Ability. If you have two Indeedee ex on your Bench, you can heal up to 40 damage every turn. Additionally, Indeedee ex is a decent enough secondary attacker that can deal good damage to Pokemon with expensive Attack Costs like Mega Gyarados ex.
Although you'd want Mega Altaria ex as your primary attacker, Giratina ex is in this deck as another offensive option in case you need to swap Mega Altaria out. When going up against Pom-Pom Oricorio, there is also a regular Altaria in this deck that you can use to damage it.

Darkrai ex pairs nicely with Giratina ex, being Pokemon who reward you simply by being on the field.
You can simply play out your turns by attaching Energy to Darkrai ex and ending your turn with Giratina ex's Broken-Space Bellow. Darkrai ex's Nightmare Aura can put opposing Pokemon into KO range for Giratina ex's Chaotic Impact.
Once Giratina ex or Darkrai ex are ready to attack, switch out your Active Pokemon with Leaf. Use Red to reach important HP benchmarks when Darkrai ex's incremental damage isn't enough.

Suicune ex's Ability allows the player to draw a card at the end of the turn. This can allow Greninja to evolve quickly and do additional damage in the early game. Since Suicune ex deals low damage if the opponent's Bench isn't filled out, Greninja can act as a useful support.
Suicune ex may not have enough damage in the late game. Giratina ex may act as a finisher once it is set up being able to deal consistent, high damage.

Sylveon ex can enable Silvally because of its Happy Ribbon Ability, which allows you to draw 2 cards, helping you find a Supporter to meet Silvall's Attack condition.
This deck also runs Giratina ex as a late-game finisher, for when Silvally's 100 damage Brave Buddies is not enough for a KO.

Latias works as the deck's early-game attacker, being able to do as much as 40 damage for only one Energy if Latios is on your Bench.
Latios can finish off Pokemon with its 120 damage Luster Purge, but at the cost of having to discard all Energy attached to it.
Giratina ex can be used as a late-game finisher once it is set up. It can consistently attack with 130 damage, and it can increase its output with the help of Red.

This deck makes use of Snorlax to deal 100 damage with Collapse using Barry's Attack Cost reduction. It also features a 2-0-2 Greninja opting to not make use of Frogadier and relying solely on Rare Candy to evolve Froakie into Greninja.
Giratina ex can sit comfortably in the Bench, using Broken-Space Bellow to set itself up for a KO turn later in the game.
Two copies of Pokemon Center Lady are used as a way to keep your Pokemon healthy, but notably for curing Snorlax of Sleep after it uses Collapse.
The deck runs both Water and Psychic Energy, giving you the option to have Greninja attack with Mist Slash, or attach Energy to Giratina ex to speed up its setup. The usage of Psychic Energy and non-reliance on Broken-Space Bellow can allow Giratina ex to attack earlier than it usually does in Darkrai ex and Giratina ex decks.

Greninja plays an important role in the deck, being the deck's main source of damage outside of Giratina ex's Chaotic Impact. Water Shuriken can get opposing Pokemon into Giratina ex's KO range,
Pom-Pom Oricorio serves as a wall, which negates all damage done by ex Pokemon. Pom-Pom Oricorio with Greninja in the back using Water Shuriken, as Giratina ex sets itself up with Broken-Space Bellow is a setup that's difficult to break.
It also makes use of Shaymin to keep its Pokemon healthy by healing 10 HP every turn, as well as Irida to heal 40 damage from your Pokemon with Water Energy.

Lunala ex is a Stage 2 card that benefits from Rare Candy, which greatly speeds up its setup, allowing it to immediately start attacking for only two Energy.
It also synergizes with Giratina ex and Mewtwo ex as a card for Energy acceleration. Lunala ex's Ability allows it to help Mewtwo ex to quickly get its Energy requirements with help from Giratina ex's Ability.
Additionally, Lunala ex's Ability also ensures that you will always have a fresh attacker as long as you can switch them out when necessary.

This deck runs similar to a 18 Trainer deck, but with an extra Pokemon instead of just two. A single copy of Mewtwo ex can help the deck score KOs on Pokemon whose HP Giratina ex can't reach by itself. This deck requires patience and strategic planning, as oftentimes, an overcommitment of resources could spell defeat for its user.

This deck uses Mew ex to take hits for the first few turns as well as an attacker whenever it can, which becomes more effective when facing Pokemon with high-damage Attacks, while Giratina ex generates energy on the Bench.
Once Giratina ex is ready, Mew ex can be scooped back up to your hand with Budding Expeditioner, allowing you to send in Giratina ex without spending on retreat costs while also keeping Mew ex from getting KOd.

Giratina ex is played alongside Dragonite and Druddigon as a secondary attacker that can set itself up with Energy without the need of using up your attachment for the turn.
This Dragonite deck makes use of a copy of Giratina ex as a backup attacker, removing the deck's sole reliance on Dragonite for damage. A late-game Chaotic Impact can either take a meaningful KO, or put an ex Pokemon into range of a Draco Meteor KO.

Ultra Necrozma ex main gimmick is its Shoegaze Attack, which discards the top 5 cards of both player's decks. This is great for running your opponents out of resources. But it could also run you out of resources too, which you hopefully won't mind in the late-game.
The deck makes use of both Lunala ex and Solgaleo ex for their utility. Lunala ex can transfer Energy, while Solgaleo ex can switch in with Rising Road and attack for 120.
Giratina ex sits on the Bench and uses Broken-Space Bellow to generate Energy, which Lunala ex can transfer to Ultra Necrozma ex later in the game.

Umbreon effectively walls Basic Pokemon at the cost of only one Energy. This allows you to set up a Giratina ex on your Bench, or repeatedly attach Energy to Darkrai ex for incremental damage.
Giratina ex is used as a finisher. It can also be used to counter evolved Pokemon that Umbreon cannot deal with.

The Giratina ex and Darkrai ex core with a 2-2 Umbreon ex line gains the ability to target down any Pokemon on your opponent's bench if they have damage on them.
Lyra gives the deck added mobility, allowing you to switch out Pokemon as long as they have damage.
Silver can be disruptive, denying your opponents of a Supporter card for their turn.

This Galarian Cursola and Sylveon ex deck lets Galarian Cursola stay on the Active spot to act as a wall that can also knock out attacking opponents with its Perish Body Ability and give Giratina ex enough time to set up.
Sylveon ex's main role is to draw cards and find evolution cards to speed up your setup. Galarian Cursola can then protect Giratina ex until the latter gathers enough Energy for a Chaotic Impact sweep.

Giratina ex's main role in most of these decks is to generate Energy through its Ability.
Although using Broken-Space Bellow immediately ends your turn, this allows you to use a powerful 3-energy Attack early, like Arceus ex's Ultimate Force and Mew ex's Genome Hacking, by moving an energy from Giratina ex using Dawn.

Giratina ex's Chaotic Impact also deals 20 damage to its user. You'd want to keep Giratina ex healthy by having healing cards like Potion and Pokemon Center Lady ready. This is especially important for later turns, where you cannot afford to have a low-HP Giratina ex knock itself out with recoil damage.
HP Recovery and Healing Cards List

Manaphy can comfortably set up in front of a Druddigon, attaching Energy to benched Pokemon with Oceanic Gift. A Manaphy that gets to successfully set up can send out a Gyarados ex that Giratina ex and its teammates cannot OHKO.
Hitmonlee can also Stretch Kick around a Druddigon's defenses and soften up your benched Pokemon for KOs later on.
Best Gyarados ex Decks and Card List

Some Pokemon can punish opposing Pokemon for having lots of Energy attached. Alakazam, Jynx, and Exeggutor from Mythical Island all have the Psychic attack with damage that increases according to the defending Pokemon's attached Energy.
The best Pokemon for this attack is Gallade ex, with its Energized Blade attack dealing up to 150 damage to a fully powered-up Giratina ex, which Giratina ex can't OHKO in return.
Best Gallade ex Decks and Card List

Giratina ex trades damage unfavorably against non-ex Pokemon. Its 20 damage recoil from Chaotic Impact can put it into range for KOs from potent threats like Skarmory or Meowscarada.
Red can help you extend your damage to score a KO on Giratina ex.
