PTCGP - Lightning Pokemon Mass Outbreak Event
The Lightning-type Pokemon Mass Outbreak Event has now started in Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket (PTCG Pocket), which runs from August 25 to August 31, 2025. Read on for more details about this event including the dates, details on Rare and Bonus Wonder Pick cards, and new event missions.

The second Lightning-Type Mass Outbreak Event in Pokemon TCG Pocket has now begun!

This event features Lightning-type Pokemon appearing in Rare and Bonus Wonder Picks, and runs from August 25, 2024 up until August 31, 2025.

Get Lightning-type Cards from Rare Picks

During this Mass Outbreak Event, several Lightning-type Pokemon cards can be obtained from both Rare and Bonus Picks.

The main highlight of this Mass Outbreak Event are the cards that are obtainable in Rare Picks, which use up Wonder Stamina when used.

Do note that these cards will not have unique Chansey icons unlike those from Chansey Wonder Picks, but are instead the same cards from the Wisdom of Sea and Sky and Extradimensional Crisis sets.

You can also get cards from Bonus Picks, which do not consume Wonder Stamina, although the pool of cards obtainable here are limited to 1◇ and 2◇ cards that are mostly Basic Pokemon and their Stage 1 evolutions.

Do note that you can also get Pack Hourglasses, Wonder Hourglasses, and Shop Tickets from these Bonus Picks.

Participate in Event Missions

A new set of missions have been made available for this event. Completing event missions will reward you with Wonder Hourglasses, which can be used to refill Wonder Stamina to start more Wonder Picks.

These event missions are only available for the duration of the event and will no longer be available once the event ends on August 31, 2025.

Obtain New Flairs for Lanturn ex and Tapu Koko ex

Lightning Outbreak 2 Flairs
For a limited amount of time, new Flairs for Lanturn ex and Tapu Koko ex are available called Yellow Glowing Ring Battle Blair and Lightning Surge Cosmetic Flair respectively.

Yellow Glowing Ring Battle Flair can be exchanged for one Lanturn ex card and 720 Shinedust.

Lightning Surge Cosmetic Flair can be exchanged for one Tapu Koko ex card and 720 Shinedust.
