If you're focused solely on collecting, consider waiting until just before the end of the event. By around April 26th, you can go ahead and select which ex Starter Deck will help you complete your collection based on what you're missing after a few weeks of opening Shining Revelry packs.

Consider that you will receive not just the highlighted ex card, but all the other cards in the ex Starter Deck as well to receive a total of 20 cards.

How to Get an ex Starter Deck

Open 5 Packs to Get a Deck Ticket

For the duration of the event, the ex Starter Deck missions will be available on the Missions menu. To earn the Deck Ticket that will allow you to redeem a free ex Starter Deck, you'll have to complete the mission that asks you to open 5 booster packs.

These don't necessarily have to be Shining Revelry packs, but it will only count packs opened from the start of the event.

Purchase a Deck from the Shop

Once you have the Deck Ticket, you can open the Shop Menu and navigate to the Limited Time Events screen to find the ex Starter Decks. You'll be able to exchange your Deck Ticket for 1 of 9 different ex Starter Decks.

You may also tap on each deck, and tap the magnifying glass on its deckbox to view the cards included with your redemption. You will receive all 20 cards in the deck.
