Mega Gardevoir ex is played with Genetic Apex's Mewtwo ex in this deck as a way to KO non-Mega ex Pokemon cleanly. Mega Gardevoir ex can consistently set up Mewtwo ex for multiple attacks, and retreat to safety thanks to Peculiar Plaza's Retreat Cost reduction.
Meloetta is the deck's ideal starter, as it can easily find you your key setup pieces with its Strange Singing Ability.

This deck combines the powerful Greninja and Cyrus combo with the added disruption of Alolan Ninetales ex.
This effective combination of cards allows you to target down your opponent's Pokemon however you want. The combination of Greninja, Cyrus and Alolan Ninetales ex can let you strategically lock opponents out of playing the game.

Greninja ex is used as a secondary attacker to Suicune ex.
While Suicune ex is in the Active Spot, you will be able to draw an extra card per turn. This ability will help you fill up your bench and evolve Pokemon faster, while also powering up Suicune ex's Crystal Waltz, which increases by 20 damage for each Pokemon in the Bench on both your and your opponent's side.
Because of Suicune ex's card advantage, it is recommended to have Genetic Apex Greninja in your deck since its ability to snipe Pokemon from the Bench. You can also set up Giratina ex in the Bench, who can aid Suicune ex by taking out tankier Pokemon.
However, if Suicune ex is in danger and Giratina ex is unable to be placed in the Active Spot, Greninja ex, the highest HP Pokemon in the deck, can be switched in. Greninja ex's Ability, Shifting Stream can let you switch in Greninja ex, or any Water Pokemon, into the Active Spot without having to retreat Aqua Edge also only costs 2 Water Energy to be used, and can deal a solid 100 damage against opposing Pokemon.

Mega Absol ex, Mars, and the Red Card can all be used in this deck to disrupt your opponent's setup.
Although Mega Absol ex's Darkness Claw has a great disruptive effect, it lacks the power you may want in the late game. Hydreigon is here to make up for Mega Absol ex's damage output. Switch it in if you need to deal with high HP Pokemon or if you need to go up against Pom-Pom Oricorio.
