This deck uses Lana which works like Cyrus, which lets you decide which of your opponent's Pokemon to put on the Active Spot. You can KO Basic Pokemon with Araquanid, or KO your opponent's more powerful Pokemon with Palkia ex, so using Lana well is the key to victory.

This deck focuses on using Lana to draw out any Basic Pokemon your opponent may be setting up in their Bench to disrupt their set-up.

Start the game with Manaphy whenever possible and focus on getting as much Energy on the board as you can. You can alternatively use Misty and hope for good flips.

Once there is enough Water Energy on your board, start attacking with Palkia ex or Araquanid!

Evolve your Pokemon before Dewpider can set up. You can use a Rare Candy for any Stage 2 Pokemon, but even getting them to Stage 1 can prevent Lana from putting them into your Active Spot too early.

Like any other Misty decks, run the chance of flipping poorly on Misty turns. While lucky heads flips can often mean a large momentum swing in our favor, an unlucky tails flip can also snowball into a quick loss.
While we do play Misty, it is important to be mindful of Energy economy and aim to have productive turns.
