Primary Attacker | Support | Description |
---|---|---|
Celebi ex | Serperior |
・Celebi ex has natural synergy with Serperior's Jungle Totem Ability which doubles the Grass Energy necessary for Celebi ex's Powerful Bloom Attack.. |
Best Starting Hand |
---|
Celebi ex is a decent starting Pokemon. Servine is also good to see because there's no ways to search for it from the deck. Use Professor's Research and Poke Ball to find Snivy and have it ready to evolve the following turn.
Recommended Starting Hand |
---|
Dhelmise can be a decent starter, which can serve as a wall if Serperior is not in play. Keep your Pokemon healthy with Potions and use Professor's Research to dig for resources.

Celebi ex's Powerful Bloom | ||
---|---|---|
Serperior's Jungle Totem powers up all the Pokemon in the deck by doubling the Grass Energy attached to them. This helps boost Celebi ex's damage output, as well as meet Dhelmise's Energy requirements for its damage boost.

Deck | Commentary |
---|---|
Grass-weak Fighting Decks |
・Grass-weak Fighting decks may find it difficult to go up against an offensive Grass deck like this one. |
Deck | Commentary |
---|---|
Blaine Decks |
・Blaine decks pack enough firepower to threaten all the deck's Grass Pokemon. ・The deck's speed may be difficult to compete with. |
While powerful, the deck relies heavily on lucky flips to deal sizeable damage. It attempts to offset possible tails flips with more coin flips through Jungle Totem's Energy multiplier, however this does not guarantee KOs.
That said, while it is capable of dealing absurd damage with Celebi's Powerful Bloom, there is also a likelihood that it could roll poorly and miss important KOs.
Card | Explanation |
---|---|
Exeggutor |
・ Exeggutor synergizes with Serperior, allowing it to use Psychic at the cost of only two Energy attachments. |
Card | Possible Cuts |
---|---|
Dhelmise |
・The deck could benefit from a second Dhelmise to give it another non-ex attacking option that isn't Serperior. |

No, there is a better combo for beating the Celebi or deck and Mew's. Add new Exeggutors. Add Dittos. Drop Delmise and poke balls. Exeggutor guarantees killing fully powered Mew, Mewtwo, or Celebi that has enough energy to flip enough coins to 1-shot it. Ditto is a cheaper, more versatile option to Celebi, but w/o the energy boon from Serperior, yet half the opponent's reward if knocked out.
