The Charcadet Drop Event in Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket (PTCG Pocket) runs from March 11, 2026 to March 21, 2026. Follow our guide to see the cards tied to Promo-B Vol.5, which cards are best to get, and tips and strategies to complete the solo battles and their missions.
The Charcadet Drop Event will run from March 11, 2026 to March 21, 2026.
This event allows players to participate in solo AI battles featuring the Charcadet card, along with receiving useful rewards by completing battle-related missions.
To participate in solo battles, you will need to use Event Stamina. Event Stamina is consumed for each win, meaning that losing won’t affect your stamina in this mode.
Additionally, you can replenish Event Stamina with Event Hourglasses, which you can earn as rewards from the beginner and intermediate solo battles, or Poke Gold.
How to Get the Event Hourglass
| Mission | Reward |
|---|---|
| Participate in 1 battle | Promo Pack B Series Vol. 5 |
| Participate in 3 battles | Promo Pack B Series Vol. 5 |
| Participate in 5 battles | Promo Pack B Series Vol. 5 |
| Participate in 10 battles | Promo Pack B Series Vol. 5 |
| Participate in 15 battles | Promo Pack B Series Vol. 5 |
| Participate in 10 battles | Promo Card Exchange Ticket x1 |
A new set of missions have been made available for this event. Completing event missions will reward you with Promo Packs and an Exchange Ticket. You may use the Exchange Ticket to obtain an event card from the Shop.
These event missions are only available for the duration of the event. You will no longer be able to complete them once the event ends on March 21, 2026.

You can also get a Promo Charcadet card along with other promo cards from Promo-B Vol.5 as a Charcadet Drop Event reward.
You have a chance to get this pack whenever you complete a match against the AI, but expert battles are guaranteed to reward you with this pack, so it is a good idea to farm these matches to collect all the cards!

The Smoliv card in this pack is a unique card. This means that it has different moves from other Smoliv cards that are available in the game. You may want to pull for this in order to try different ways of playing.
The highlight card, Charcadet, may also be good to pull. It is the only card in the set that has a full illustration. Collectors may want this to display on their boards and binders.

Whenever you receive a promo pack as a reward, you can open it in your gift list found in the upper right of the main menu.
A pack only contains one of the available promo cards, so try to get and open as many packs as you can!

In Event Solo Battles, you can battle against different decks that scale on difficulty. Once you have defeated a deck, the next deck will be unlocked containing harder cards than the last.
There are only 4 levels of Solo Battle: Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, and Expert—with Expert giving you a guaranteed card pack pull from the event.

Use Water Pokemon that can attack quickly to counter Armarouge ex. Having the weakness damage bonus can cancel out most of Armarouge ex's ability, and if you catch them quick enough, you may be able to defeat them before Charcadet can even evolve.
One of the best Water counter Pokemon to Armarouge ex would be Alolan Ninetales ex. Alolan Ninetales ex is not only quick to set up, its attack effect can prevent your opponent from taking Energy from the Energy Zone.

Because Armarouge ex already discards 1 of its Energy after it attacks, using cards that can discard the opposing Pokemon's Energy can disrupt its set-up.

Armarouge ex's Ability reduces the damage that it takes from attacks. You may use cards that inflict additional damage or boost the power of your Pokemon's attacks.

Chien-Pao ex is played with Baxcalibur in this deck. The deck's main objective is to accelerate Energy to Chien-Pao ex and KO threats before they are able to set up.
This deck also makes use of Misty for added Energy acceleration.

Silvally and Rampardos Deck |
Strengths: • Type: Null is guaranteed to be your first Basic Pokemon. • Several cards in the deck can help you quickly evolve Type:Null and the Skull Fossil to their fully evolved forms. • This deck does not require a lot of Energy. Weaknesses: • Silvally relies on using Supporter cards in order to do a lot of damage. |

Type: Null is guaranteed to be your Basic Pokemon upon starting a match, since it's the only Basic Pokemon in this deck. You should be able to evolve it quickly with the help of Gladion and Professor's Research.
Once you have Silvally on hand, it's recommended to use Supporter cards every turn in order to boost your attack's damage to 100.
Silvally isn't your only source of damage on this deck, though. Rampardos allows you to have a bulkier Pokemon in your deck that can do a lot of damage without too much setup. You can get this Pokemon in this deck by using Rare Candy on a Skull Fossil.
