Pidgeot ex Deck
[★ Best ★] |
Strengths:
• Pidgeot ex can reliably deal 140 damage with its Scattering Cyclone Attack. • Pokemon Flute allows you to forcibly put a Pokemon on your opponent's Bench to increase Scattering Cyclone's damage. • Druddigon is an effective wall that also deals damage with Rough Skin. Weaknesses: • Makes use of Stage 2 Pokemon, which may require multiple turns to set up. • May initially struggle because of its low damage output early in the game. |

This deck uses Druddigon as an early game wall that can deal damage upon being attacked with its Ability. Pidgeot can switch in after it is built in the Bench to attack with Scattering Cyclone.

You can use another Pokemon to take damage from opponents while Pidgeot ex safely evolves in the Bench. It is best to use Druddigon since it can deal damage with its Ability without having to attack.

The Pokemon Flute can fill out your opponent's Bench, making it easier for Scattering Cyclone to reach 140 damage. You may also use Red to increase Pidgeot ex's attack if your opponent has fewer Benched Pokemon.

You can choose to use only two to four Pokemon cards, with the rest of the deck being filled out with Trainer Cards. This prevents Scattering Cyclone from reaching its full damage potential even with the Pokemon Flute, as there are less, if not no Pokemon to Bench.

Since Pidgeot ex takes time to set up, you can take advantage by knocking out its pre-evolutions. Sabrina and Cyrus can draw them out, but you can also use cards that can damage Benched Pokemon such as Genetic Apex Hitmonlee.
