How to Fix Opponent Not Found in Private Match
Update to the Newest Version of Pokemon TCG Pocket
Players are reporting issues with connecting to private matches and being unable to find their opponents due to version differences. Be sure to check your Google Play or Apple Store to see if you and your opponent have any pending app updates since Pokemon TCG Pocket regularly patches bugs and errors.

If you are already on the latest version of the app, then you may need to move to a more stable internet connection.
