Use Energy-Efficient Psychic-Types

It is ideal to attack your opponents quickly. Pokemon with a Type advantage and low Attack Costs are recommended.

Togekiss is a good single-point option. It can be put into play in earlier turns with the help of the Rare Candy and can deal 120 damage for two Energies. Mismagius ex is a fast ex option, being able to stop your opponents from attacking with Confusion.

Attacking an Unprepared Riolu or Lucario ex

Lucario ex can be dangerous once it is set up, so it may be good to stop it before it can unleash its attack. Sabrina and Cyrus can draw Riolu or Lucario ex out to the Active Spot while still unprepared, but you can also use cards that can damage Benched Pokemon such as Genetic Apex Hitmonlee.

Pachirisu ex and Pawmot are both used as main attackers in this deck. Both have low Attack Costs, so they can attack rather quickly.

While it is ideal to use Pachirisu ex in the early game while Pawmot is set up in the bench, Pawmi and Pawmo are also effective early game Pokemon to use if Pachirisu ex is not drawn yet.

This deck focuses on using Team Rocket Grunt and Banette to floodgate your opponent and ruining their Energy economy. By forcing your opponent to focus on one Pokemon to funnel energy into, Alakazam can then attack that Pokemon with Psychic's increased damage.
