Most of the deck's Basic Pokemon are effective as soon as they're played. Make your Energy attachments count for an impactful Lt. Surge play later in the game!

Zapdos ex is also a solid starting Pokemon, as it can start attacking for 20 as early as turn 1. Use Poke Ball and Professor's Research to dig for cards you need, notably Basic Pokemon that you can bench.

Lt. Surge Synergy

Lt. Surge can load up Raichu for a big Gigashock later in the game. Make your Energy attachments count!

Strategy 2: Electabuzz Snipe

Electabuzz can reliably snipe Pokemon on the Bench, notably 2HKOing the likes of Ralts and Snivy.

2 Use Sabrina to gust out weaker Pokemon, preferably Pokemon with less than 90 HP that Raichu or Zapdos ex can KO.

・Pokemon like Mythical Island Primeape can consistently deal sizeable damage to our Lightning-types.

Overall Consistency

The cards in the deck have natural synergy with each other, with Magneton serving as a battery and Lt. Surge being able to disrtribute it to Raichu. Pikachu ex and Raichu are an effective combo, and can take out most threats together.

・ Electrode is a solid alternative to Zapdos ex, which has free retreat, however is limited to only 70 damage. Because it needs only two attachments and is an evolution, it cannot attack on the play like Zapdos ex can.
