If you use Xatu and win the coin flip, you will reduce the opposing Pokemon's HP to 10 regardless of their max HP. This makes Xatu a powerful card, but also inconsistent.
Using Will guarantees heads on Xatu's coin flip. When the opposing Pokemon's HP is lowered to 10, you can use Greninja to snipe them using its ability.
A 1-1 Sylveon ex line is used in this deck to help with your setup.

Typhlosion is used alongside Xatu as a way to guarantee KOs through the Burn that inflicts through its Fire Breath Ability.
Using Will guarantees heads on Xatu's coin flip.

Will's supporter ability will guarantee Heads on Xatu's coin flip, eliminating the random factor. However, keep in mind that you will need to rely on coin flips once you have used up both Will cards.

After lowering your opponent's Pokemon HP to 10, use Pokemon that can inflict damage from the Bench like Greninja or Typhlosion to guarantee the KO.
Xatu does not have any offensive moves, so you will need support from other Pokemon to win points.

Evolving Eevee into Sylveon ex will add an extra 2 cards to your hand. If you do not get the cards that you need, you can use Iono to reshuffle your entire hand.
However, you should only do this when you have no useable cards you can play. If you get a card that you can use, it's better to play them immediately before you shuffle.

Use Pokemon that can OHKO Xatu like Darkrai ex and Crobat ex.
Xatu has low HP, so you want to make sure that when you put a Pokemon on the Active Spot, you can immediately KO it before it can use its move on you.
