Tapu Koko ex matches up favorably against top Suicune ex decks, being able to easily 2HKO Suicune ex with Plasma Hurricane and Mach Bolt.

Pom-Pom Oricorio's Ability shuts down any opposing ex Pokemon, which can help you set up Magnezone in your Bench.
Magneton's ability allows you to place extra Lightning energy onto itself. Stack as much energy as you can on Magneton before evolving it into Magnezone.
Once set up, you can bring out Magnezone to the Active Spot and, with the help of Giant Cape, withstand any attack while easily eliminating non-ex Pokemon with its powerful 110 damage attack.

List of All Lightning Type Pokemon Cards
A common theme for Lightning Type Cards is that they dish out a ton of damage in a short amount of time. They also have access to more powerful moves but come at a cost like Zapdos ex's coin flips or Magnezone's energy discard.
They also have the cheapest Retreat costs making them efficient at swapping around before they get knocked out so your opponent can't score Points.
The prime strategy is to get Lightning cards on the board as soon as possible since they are strongest during the early game phase.
