List of Contents
| Silvally Deck Variants | Strengths and Weaknesses |
|---|---|
Silvally and Pom-Pom Oricorio Deck
[★ Best ★] |
Strengths:
• Silvally is easy to set up, especially with Gladion making it easier to find. • Pom-Pom Oricorio is immune to any attacks from ex Pokemon thanks to its Ability. Weaknesses: • May find it difficult to keep up with other single-point decks like Silvally and Rampardos. |
Silvally and Rampardos Deck
|
Strengths:
• Type: Null is guaranteed to be your first Basic Pokemon. • Several cards in the deck can help you quickly evolve Type:Null and the Skull Fossil to their fully evolved forms. • This deck does not require a lot of Energy. Weaknesses: • Silvally relies on using Supporter cards in order to do a lot of damage. • The Skull Fossil relies on the Rare Candy item in order to evolve into Rampardos, since this deck does not have Cranidos. |
Silvally and Darkrai ex Deck
[★ New ★] |
Strengths:
• Silvally is easy to set up, especially with Gladion making it easier to find. • Darkrai ex can deal passive damage through Energy attachments with its Nightmare Aura Ability. • Pichu and Magby alleviate Silvally's weakness of going first by being able to accelerate Energy on your first turn with their free Attacks. Weaknesses: • Baby Pokemon in the deck are very easy to KO because of their low 30 HP. • Going first with Darkrai ex or Type:Null is usually disadvantageous. |
Silvally and Zeraora Deck
|
Strengths:
• Silvally is easy to set up, especially with Gladion making it easier to find. • Has multiple ways to accelerate Energy like Zeraora and Pichu. Weaknesses: • Pokemon in the deck are easy to KO because of their low HP. |
Silvally and Giratina ex Deck
|
Strengths:
• Silvally is easy to set up, especially with Gladion making it easier to find. Weaknesses: • Players will have to decide between attacking with Silvally or using Broken-Space Bellow with Giratina ex early in the game. |

This deck aims to quickly power up attackers with Pichu and Elemental Switch.
The inclusion of Pichu alleviates Silvally 's weakness of being an Energy behind when going first.
Pom-Pom Oricorio can wall unprepared ex Pokemon, while Silvally attacks for 100 every turn, forcing advantageous point trades.

Type: Null is guaranteed to be your Basic Pokemon upon starting a match, since it's the only Basic Pokemon in this deck. You should be able to evolve it quickly with the help of Gladion and Professor's Research.
Once you have Silvally on hand, it's recommended to use Supporter cards every turn in order to boost your attack's damage to 100.
Silvally isn't your only source of damage on this deck, though. Rampardos allows you to have a bulkier Pokemon in your deck that can do a lot of damage without too much setup. You can get this Pokemon in this deck by using Rare Candy on a Skull Fossil.

Pichu and Magby help with a Silvally deck's weakness of going first by providing valuable Energy on your first turn. This makes it so Silvally is not an Energy behind, and will be able to attack on the turn that it evolves.
Darkrai ex is included in the deck to give Silvally additional offensive backup with its Nightmare Aura Ability which can damage the defending Pokemon for 20.
Going second, your Baby Pokemon can accelerate Energy onto your benched Silvally while you attach your Energy for turn to Darkrai ex.

Jolteon can deal a quick 60 damage when it evolves and uses Beginning Bolt. This may allow it to take out low-HP Basic Pokemon with ease. Silvally is played with Jolteon in this deck as an easy way to deal 100 damage with minimal effort.
Electrical Cord allows you to be more efficient with your attached Energy, transfering it to a benched partner once a Lightning-type gets knocked out.
A single copy of Pom-Pom Oricorio is played as a win condition against ex-heavy decks.

Sylveon ex can enable Silvally because of its Happy Ribbon Ability, which allows you to draw 2 cards, helping you find a Supporter to meet Silvall's Attack condition.
This deck also runs Giratina ex as a late-game finisher, for when Silvally's 100 damage Brave Buddies is not enough for a KO.

In order to maximize Silvally's damage output, it is recommended to use Supporter cards every turn that Silvally is on the field. If you've played a Supporter card during the turn, Silvally will do 100 damage with its attack instead of the base 50.
Gladion in particular is a great Supporter card to have in any Silvally deck, since it can be used to get a Silvally card, evolve Type: Null, and have it do 100 damage all in one turn.

Although Silvally often has access to multiple healing Supporter cards, it only has 110 HP. If you hit it using a move that does this amount or more, it can be knocked out in one turn, without any hope of healing.
Having a Fighting-type deck makes this even easier, only requiring you to use a 90 base power move in order to knock out a Silvally that isn't holding an item.

Certain Pokemon such as Gengar and Gengar ex have moves or abilities that can prevent your opponent from using Trainer Cards. If an opposing Silvally Deck can't access Supporter cards, Silvally's damage output will be significantly reduced.

Irida serves for nothing, since no Pokemon is going to have a water energy attached.
