Tyrogue functions as this deck's early-game attacker, providing chip damage without needing any Energy. Rocky Helmet and Darkrai ex's Ability can provide additional damage, whittling down the opponent's HP even more.

Zoroark can be brought into the Active Spot once the opponent is in its KO range. It can nullify damage done to it after knocking a Pokemon out, which allows it to survive the next turn.

Zoroark Deck Strategy Guide

Deal Additional Damage

Zoroark cannot do much damage, so you will need other cards to help it land KOs. Darkrai ex and Rocky Helmet can provide additional chip damage, while Red can boost Zoroark's damage.

Draw Weaker Pokemon Out to the Active Spot

You may use Supporter Cards to bring out Pokemon that are in Zoroark's KO range to the Active Spot. Sabrina is a good option, but Cyrus works best if you are using Darkrai ex's Ability to damage Benched Pokemon.

How to Beat Zoroark Decks

Heal or Increase Your HP

Healing or increasing your HP can allow you to mitigate additional damage. This will help you avoid falling into Zoroark's KO range.

KO Zorua Before It Evolves

You may prevent Zoroark from using its Ability by knocking it out before it evolves. Sabrina and Cyrus can draw it out to the Active Spot. You can also use cards that can damage Benched Pokemon such as Genetic Apex Hitmonlee.
