Use Fast Fighting Pokemon
Most Lightning Pokemon in this solo battle are weak to Fighting types, so using Fighting Pokemon with low Attack Costs can counter their quick set-ups.
Fighting Pokemon like Primeape and Sandslash are good for knocking out Pokemon in the early game. Marshadow will deal 120 damage if one of your Pokemon is defeated in the previous turn—making it a must-have for most Fighting decks.
Use the Giant Cape on Pokemon with 80 HP or Below
Pachirisu ex and Pikachu ex can OHKO Pokemon cards that are 80 HP or below. Use the Giant Cape to increase your Pokemon's HP by 20.

If you want an aggressive front, Starmie ex is a solid attacker that can 2HKO both Pachirisu ex and Pikachu ex. It can also OHKO low HP Basics.
While having Starmie ex in the Active Spot, build Palkia ex and Articuno ex on the Bench. Use Misty to accelerate their set-ups. Once they are ready, you can switch them in to deal the finishing blow.

This deck uses Primeape as the main attacker, which can deal 50 damage for only one energy. Lucario acts as support, boosting damage to all Fighting-type Pokemon. This effect can stack if you have two Lucarios.
Primeape's damage can be boosted further with a Red trainer card.
The Pokemon in this deck all have low HP, so you can replace Rocky Helmet with Giant Cape to increase their survivability. However, if your Pokemon do get KO'd, you can use Marshadow to deal a 120 damage revenge hit.
