As of October 30, 2024, Pokemon TCG Pocket's server maintenance ended and is now available to play for everyone worldwide!

The game was not available for those who played during its soft launch in New Zealand during the maintenance.

Maintenance is Over

Pokemon TCG Pocket's soft launch in New Zealand's maintenance is over and ended at around 2:30 AM PDT.

Upon opening the game, you can now create a save date for the game!

Possible Maintenance Reasons

Alleviate the Game's Early Release

Pokemon TCG Pocket was released earlier than planned, as it was released nearly 12 hours before its release time. An indefinite maintenance may be the game's method of holding off any new players from logging in and playing the game early.

Hold Off Influx of Players

Another possible reason for the maintenance is that it is meant to hold off a large group of players from logging in to the game at the same time, which may cause further issues.
